Reel Fun Returns: Busch Light Fishing Rodeo Back on Pensacola Beach

The Busch Light Fishing Rodeo returns June 19-22, bringing one of the Gulf Coast’s most anticipated fishing events back to Pensacola Beach. Hosted by Pensacola Sports, the annual rodeo welcomes anglers of all skill levels for a weekend of competition, camaraderie and family fun. Participants can fish from a boat, dock or shoreline while competing for cash prizes and awards across 21 species categories.

Beyond the General Rodeo, anglers can test their skills in the King Mackerel Challenge and In-Shore Challenge, while young fishermen and women have opportunities to compete in the Outcast Tackle & Marine Youth Rodeo and Academy Sports Junior Rodeo.

The weekend begins with a Captain’s Meeting at Flounder’s on Pensacola Beach, followed by two days of fishing and public weigh-ins that offer plenty of excitement for spectators. Families, friends and fishing enthusiasts are invited to watch anglers bring their catches to the scales and cheer on competitors throughout the weekend.
